My passion is sharing my excitement and interest in Central Oregon birds, nature, and almost everything else I find as I explore both the present and past of this fascinating and beautiful area.

I’ve designed and led programs and outings for many Central Oregon organizations. I lead and participate in many community science projects.

I photograph anything I encounter that stays still long enough, and I even keep a few blurry shots that feel like nature creating art in motion.

I hope my programs, outings, and projects bring others as much joy, awe, inspiration, and well-being as I have been blessed to experience.
